shipping & handling

  • Orders will be processed within 7 days, larger orders could take up to 10

  • I’ll always offer a local pdx pick up which is also just my house (garage) so please be mindful.

  • I do not offer returns, all sales are final

  • It very rarely happens but if you receive your item damaged or broken send me pictures of the crime scene and i’ll issue a replacement or refund. :)

  • I offer domestic and international shipping. Both are a flat rate and I try to reflect the price within the individual piece. On the off chance the shipping is more or less than expected, I’ll get in touch and we can work something out.

seconds

  • a second is a piece of pottery with minor glaze flaws but is still fully functional.

  • seconds can have a normal life of usage and in general are cared for the same way.

  • each potter has their own opinion on what deems a piece a “second”

  • mine are usually the cause of glaze irregularities (blisters, pinholes, crawling) and sometimes small chips or pots i just don’t care for.

  • i won’t usually highlight the specific flaw but the price will reflect the irregularity and with that the mystery of the second. when in doubt, don’t buy it! :)

care & info

  • make sure to inspect and wash your pots before you use them!

  • all of my pottery is fired to cone 6 ^ this means the pieces are vitrified (glass like) i only work with clay that has < 1% absorption. so you can rest easy that everything is water tight!

  • all of the pots are dishwasher and microwave safe. however, handwashing and avoiding the microwave will prolong the life of your ceramics and is highly recommended.

  • all matte glazes are susceptible to cutlery marks. i like the patina over time, but if it bugs you bar keepers friend will clean them off.

  • unless stated other wise, my pottery is not cookware and doesn’t belong in the oven or on the stove.
